Lisa Worldwide Street Food Foundation was born out of the founder’s innate desire to reach out to those in need. Having experienced the challenges of life firsthand, the founder understands the struggles that many face. This empathy sparked a vision to create an organization that would provide support and relief to those struggling. Lisa WorldWide Street Food Foundation was Created in 2024 to help the vulnerable areas in Nigeria

and their people so that they can get regular access to food for their themselves and their families.

The situation in Nigeria is quite concerning. Nearly 25 million Nigerians are at risk of facing hunger

between June and August 2023. This is due to a combination of factors including ongoing conflict,

climate change, inflation, and rising food prices. The northeastern states of Borno, Adamawa, and

Yobe are particularly affected, with millions of people facing acute food insecurity.

The Global Hunger Index ranks Nigeria 110th out of 127 countries, indicating a serious level of

hunger. The situation is especially dire for children, with many suffering from acute malnutrition.

Efforts are being made by organizations like UNICEF and the Nigerian government to address this

crisis, but the need for urgent action remains critical

The Foundation aims to focus on the lesser known acute areas such as Warri, Benin and Lagos where

the hunger especially in children is not as widely known about and is a less highlighted area by

organisations such as UNICEF.

Several start up activities were completed in Warri where on the first occasion approximately 250

people including families and children were given access to food served on the street to them which

was then followed up by 500 people given access to food.

The Primary Aims of the foundations are:

• Provide Food to families and people on the streets on a frequent basis.

• Provide access to drinking water on the street (bottled or bagged).

• Spread the street food to other areas such as Benin and Lagos and then other areas.

• Provide access to subsided food such as Rice which is as staple diet in Nigeria.

The Secondary Aims of the foundation are:

• Schooling for children.

• Medical Care for families
